![]() Let's just get this over with. Part three of Jeri Tyler, an original fanfic written by me, Sphynx-chan. Just don't kill me. Here it comes.

[At Rusty's apartment…]
"Well, here we are! Make yourselves at home, there's food in the fridge, stuff to drink in the cooler over there, and plenty of room." Rusty said, welcoming the group into his rather large, three floor apartment. One by one, the others entered the front room, Rusty closed the door behind him.
"So…who did you say I might want to see again?" Jeri asked while taking off her jacket and throwing it on the couch. Rusty looked at her and grinned.
"That's right, I did say that. I'll be right back." He said, going out of the room and disappearing around a corner. After a few minutes had passed, Rusty reappeared and he was accompanied by two other people, a young man and a young woman. When Jeri saw them, she rushed over to the two and gave them big hugs, tears forming in her eyes. The other pilots all stared at the brunette's strange actions, not understanding why Jeri was crying.
"Oh my god, it's so good to see you guys again." Jeri said, wiping the tears from her eyes. The young woman smiled at Jeri, giving her another reassuring hug. Jeri turned around to face the other pilots, a big smile on her face.
"Y'all, I'd like to introduce the two closest people in my life, they've been there for me through thick and through thin, and I haven't seen them in two years. These are my cousins; Colin, and Mackenzie." Jeri announced, motioning towards her cousins.
Collin was twenty-one years old, six feet and one inches tall, with pale green eyes and dark blonde hair that was spiked up a little and fell this way and that. He had a splash of freckles on his face and three earrings in each ear. He was wearing a tight, black, short-sleeved shirt, his tanned, muscular arms were crossed over his chest. Colin had a small crucifix around his neck, strung by a thin, gold chan. His outfit was completed with loose-fitting, dark denim jeans and black Adidas shoes.
Mackenzie, on the other hand, was about twenty-three, five foot nine, with shoulder-length hair that was a mix of red and black, with blonde streaks here and there; she also had hazel eyes, and an eyebrow ring. She was wearing a loose, long-sleeved, green shirt and some jean overalls. Mackenzie was wearing some white sneakers with pink laces. The straps on the overalls were loosened, Mackenzie's stomach was huge, indicating that she was going to have a child soon. She shook everyone's hand with her left hand, a small gold wedding band on the fourth finger; her right hand seemed to be permanately stuck to the small of her back. Even though she was obviously hurting from standing up, Mackenzie had a warm smile on her face.
"My goodness gracious, Miss Jeri, how you have grown. How are you, honey?" Mackenzie said in her southern accent. Jeri flushed a bit, then smiled humbly.
"Just fine and dandy, cuz. I see you have been busy. My my, whenever did this happen?" the brunette said teasingly, causing the older woman's cheeks to color. She took Jeri's hands and they both sat down on the couch.
"Well, there's so much you've missed, my darling, I believe I have to refresh your memories, or lack thereof. It all started….." Mackenzie and Jeri proceeded to gab about anything and evrything, every so often one or both of them would giggle like schoolgirls.
Meanwhile, Rusty sighed heavily at his wife and his best friend's gab fest. `They're always like this, it's no surprise they're related. I wonder how long it'll last this time. Might as well grab a cold drink, this'll be a while.' He thought to himself, dragging his feet across the room to the little gold refrigerator standing in the corner of the small kitchen.
He pulled out a root beer and popped it open, taking a big gulp. He sighed once again, knowing that once two women started talking, it was next to impossible to stop them. The Irish were always so stubborn; he would know, he was of Irish decent himself. The dark haired one flopped into an old armchair, trying to catch his breath from the events of the day.
